This is so far my most favorite project of yours But I would add some reflective materials like Stainless steel, mirrors and glass also on the ground floor as you did on the second floor The glowing bathroom was amazing

Im planning a tiny house on trailer 16 ft by 8ft , without loft with a king size bed, with garage storage under the bed,kitchen on 1 side with a side /side fridge and on the opposite of it storage for clothing, pantry for 3 months and finally a shower and compost toilet . I'm so glad they don't allow contemporary exterior additions. It really does ruin the character of such historical houses. People go crazy adding all the latest designs to historical houses, to try to show off their wealth and style, only for it to look dated in another 10 to 20 years anyway. And the whole neighborhood will just become a jumble of outdated styles down the years, rather than the beautiful, timeless, cohesive and homely houses they are now.

Whoa! How do you not roll out of that little loft bed?

I love some of your ideas, like the concealed storage around the wood stove and the storage bench, but, overall, I just don't really like it when these historical buildings are made into the ultra-modern Scandinavian minimalist style that's everywhere these days. It's a bit like buying a minivan and putting racing stripes and track tires on it. If you're going to buy a historic cottage, I think you should also try to preserve the original style as much as possible. Just go buy a modern condo if that's what you want anyway. The character in a building isn't just in the facade. That's just my two cents, though. I still like the video and I applaud your ability to see the utility in difficult spaces, I just don't know that I agree that said utility has to automatically go hand-in-hand with ultra-modern styling.

It's nice to see a full sized conversion instead of the tiny homes. I like to see options for both to renovate rather than raze and build new.
